About Jean Daly
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges—especially when it comes to healing from trauma. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, I want you to know that you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I provide compassionate therapy and use evidence-based methods to suit your unique needs drawing on modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help heal past wounds and bring about a more fulfilled life. My approach to therapy honors each person's holistic needs (mind, body, and soul), and I foster a nurturing therapeutic alliance to create a safe environment for healing and growth. I believe in a person-centered, strengths-based, and attachment-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your story, your strengths, and the connections that shape your life. We will work collaboratively to heal past wounds, establish healthier patterns, strengthen relationships, and bring about greater joy in life.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Divine Mercy University, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical practice, psychological assessment, and trauma-focused care. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my expertise through advanced training in trauma therapies, always striving to bring the most effective and compassionate care to my clients.
I work with individuals and couples, and many of my clients come from a Catholic background, though I welcome people from all walks of life. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, past wounds, relationship struggles, or simply searching for clarity, I’ll provide a safe space where we can explore what’s holding you back and build a path forward together. I consider it an honor to journey with people as they strive to overcome obstacles to living the flourishing life that God intends.
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply, healing at your own pace, and developing the skills to move forward with confidence. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey.
